Oil Pan Skid with Oil Door for Jeep Wrangler JLU 392 6.4L Hemi (4 Door, Aluminum)

$1,199.99

The 6.4L Hemi in the Wrangler 392 carries a big, exposed oil pan that no other JL shares, so ordinary JL skids will not protect it. This Artec Industries Alpha Series oil skid (SKU JL4122) shapes 1/4" heat-treated aluminum around the 392's pan on 2021-and-newer 4-door JLUs, with an integrated oil door that opens for oil and filter changes without unbolting the plate. As a modular piece of Artec's no-overlap bellypan system, it can stand alone or anchor a full underbody build as you add the transfer case, fuel tank, and exhaust skids.

Features

  • 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum shaped to the 392's 6.4L Hemi oil pan
  • Integrated oil door for drain-plug and filter access with the skid installed
  • 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets tie into factory frame points
  • Bolt-on install using Artec countersunk bolts matched to OEM thread pitch
  • Reverse-engineered from factory CAD and 3D Creaform scans, CNC laser cut and formed
  • Combines with transfer case, fuel tank, and exhaust skids into a full bellypan
  • Rust-free aluminum keeps weight off the nose; made in the USA

This skid covers the oil pan only and fits the 392 exclusively — 3.6L, 2.0L, and diesel oil skids are shaped differently and will not interchange. For the 392's low-hanging exhaust, add the 392 Muffler & Tip Skid, or move straight to the 392 Full Bellypan for complete coverage. More options live in our skid plates collection.

Oil Pan Skid with Oil Door for Jeep Wrangler JLU 392 6.4L Hemi (4 Door, Aluminum) FAQs

Will this fit a non-392 Wrangler?

No. It is cut around the 6.4L Hemi's oil pan in the 4-door JLU 392, and the 3.6L, 2.0L, and diesel pans all sit differently. Each engine gets its own Artec oil skid, so match the part to what is under your hood.

Does this protect anything besides the oil pan?

No — this is the oil pan module only. It is designed as part of Artec's modular, no-overlap bellypan system, so you can pair it with the transfer case, fuel tank, and muffler skids over time or order the complete 392 Full Bellypan if you want the entire belly covered at once.

How do oil changes work with the skid installed?

Through the integrated oil door. It opens for the drain plug and filter, so the plate stays bolted to the Jeep during routine service. Installation itself is bolt-on — 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets at factory frame points with countersunk bolts in OEM thread, no welding required.
