Magnaflow Exhaust Skid for Jeep Wrangler JLU 392 - Aluminum
Artec Industries' Magnaflow Exhaust Skid (JL4119) armors the frame-side run of exhaust on the 4-door Wrangler JLU 392 — the stretch between the main bellypan and the rear muffler that a Magnaflow cat-back leaves exposed to rocks and trail debris. Cut from 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum and formed to follow the Magnaflow routing along the frame, it turns the most vulnerable section of the exhaust into protected real estate without touching the pipe itself.
Features
- Machined from 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum for durable, lightweight protection
- 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets keep the mounts rust-free
- Follows the frame-side routing of the Magnaflow exhaust on the 392 Hemi
- Developed from factory CAD files and Creaform 3D laser scan data, CNC laser cut and formed
- Modular piece of the Alpha Series bellypan system, fully bolt-on
- Made in the USA
Fitment is the 2021-up 4-door JLU 392 with a Magnaflow system; other exhausts route differently and are not supported. Complete the run with the rear Magnaflow Muffler & Tip Skid over a 392 bellypan, or get the belly and this coverage together in the 392 Bellypan with Magnaflow Exhaust Skid. More underbody armor lives in our skid plates collection.
Magnaflow Exhaust Skid for Jeep Wrangler JLU 392 FAQs
Which part of the exhaust does this cover?
It guards the mid-section that runs along the frame, between the main bellypan and the rear muffler. The rear muffler and tip are covered separately by the Magnaflow Muffler & Tip Skid (JL4120); together the two complete Magnaflow protection on the 392.
Will it fit a stock or non-Magnaflow exhaust?
No. The plate is formed to the Magnaflow cat-back routing on the 2021-up 4-door JLU 392. Factory and other aftermarket exhausts follow different paths under the Jeep and will not match the skid.
Do I need the bellypan to run this skid?
It is designed as an add-on to the Alpha Series system, so plan on running it with a 392 bellypan for continuous coverage. If you are starting from scratch, the combined 392 Bellypan with Magnaflow Exhaust Skid gets you both pieces in one order.
