Full Bellypan with Oil Door for Jeep Wrangler JLU 3.6L 2018-2020 (4 Door, Aluminum)

$2,799.99

Built for the first three model years of the 4-door Wrangler JLU with the 3.6L Pentastar, this Artec Industries Alpha Series full bellypan (SKU JL4161) replaces the drooping factory plastic trays with one flush run of 1/4" heat-treated aluminum. Coverage spans the oil pan, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank — the entire chain of expensive hardware between your frame rails. The integrated oil door keeps oil changes simple, and the included fuel-tank support strap eliminates the factory tank drop, netting clearance where a stock JLU drags.

Features

  • Front skid cut for the 2018-2020 3.6L oil pan, which differs from 2021+ production
  • 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum at roughly a third the weight of comparable steel
  • One continuous protected plane: oil pan, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank
  • Oil door opens for drain-plug and filter access with the skid mounted
  • No-overlap modular panels — each skid unbolts independently
  • Fuel-tank strap deletes the factory tank drop and lifts the rear belly
  • 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets with countersunk OEM-thread bolts; CNC laser cut and formed in the USA

Confirm your model year: a 2021-or-newer 3.6L takes the 2021+ kit instead, and very early builds may match the pre-2018 production version. Prefer to stage the purchase? The 2018-2020 3.6L oil skid is this kit's front module sold separately. See every option in the skid plates collection.

Full Bellypan with Oil Door for Jeep Wrangler JLU 3.6L 2018-2020 (4 Door, Aluminum) FAQs

How do I pick between this and the 2021+ version?

Go by model year. Jeep recut the 3.6L oil-pan area for 2021, so Artec shapes the front skid differently for each range. A 2018, 2019, or 2020 4-door 3.6L takes this kit; anything newer takes the 2021+ kit. Very early-production JLUs with the original pan may need the pre-2018 version, so compare your oil pan if your build date is early.

Will my Jeep sit lower with all this armor on?

No — the opposite at several points. The aluminum panels mount flush against the frame, and the included support strap eliminates the factory fuel-tank drop, so the finished belly is flatter and higher than the stock plastic trays. At about a third the weight of equivalent steel, the added mass is modest for full coverage.

What tools and skills does the install take?

Basic hand tools and patience. The 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets bolt to factory frame points and Artec's countersunk bolts match OEM thread, so there is no welding, cutting, or drilling. Afterward, oil changes run through the integrated oil door and each panel can be dropped individually when needed.
