Full Bellypan with Oil Door for Jeep Wrangler JLU 3.0L EcoDiesel (4 Door, Aluminum)
The EcoDiesel packages its oil pan, exhaust, and DPF differently than any gas Wrangler, so generic JL armor simply does not fit it. This Artec Industries Alpha Series full bellypan (SKU JL4169) is cut exclusively for the 4-door JLU with the 3.0L diesel V6, replacing the flimsy factory plastic trays with a continuous run of 1/4" heat-treated aluminum. It shields the oil pan, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank, and the diesel's DPF exhaust as one flush system, with an integrated oil door so service days stay simple. A fuel-tank support strap eliminates the factory tank drop and buys back ground clearance over the stock trays.
Features
- 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum panels at roughly a third the weight of comparable steel armor
- Diesel-specific coverage: oil pan, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank, and DPF exhaust
- Integrated oil door for oil and filter changes without dropping the skid
- Modular no-overlap layout — any single panel comes off without pulling the system
- Fuel-tank support strap deletes the factory tank drop for a flush, higher belly
- 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets bolt to factory frame points; countersunk OEM-thread hardware
- Reverse-engineered from factory CAD and 3D Creaform scans, CNC laser cut and formed in the USA
This kit fits the 4-door EcoDiesel JLU only — 3.6L, 2.0L, and 392 bellypans will not bolt to the diesel's unique pan and exhaust routing, and the DEF tank is protected by a separate skid. Gas-engine builders should look at the 4-door 3.6L 2021+ bellypan or the 4-door 2.0L bellypan. Browse the full range of skid plates and armor to finish the build.
Full Bellypan with Oil Door for Jeep Wrangler JLU 3.0L EcoDiesel (4 Door, Aluminum) FAQs
Will this bellypan fit a gas-engine JLU?
No. The 3.0L EcoDiesel carries its oil pan and DPF exhaust in places the gas engines do not, so this kit is cut only for the 4-door diesel JLU. Owners of 3.6L, 2.0L, and 392 Wranglers should order the engine-matched Artec bellypan instead — none of the versions interchange.
Does it protect the DEF tank as well?
Not within this kit. Coverage runs from the oil and transmission pans back through the transfer case, fuel tank, and DPF exhaust. The diesel exhaust fluid tank is shielded by Artec's separate DEF skid, which is worth adding if you run rocky terrain regularly.
Is this a weld-on or bolt-on system?
Fully bolt-on. The 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets attach to factory frame points and the countersunk Artec bolts match OEM thread, so no cutting or welding is required. The panels do not overlap, which means any single skid — including the oil door section — can come off later without disturbing the rest.
