Full Bellypan with Oil Door for Jeep Wrangler JLU 2.0L 2018+ (4 Door, Aluminum)
Four-door Wranglers carry a long, vulnerable underbelly, and the 2.0L turbo's low-slung pans make it worse. Artec Industries' Alpha Series full bellypan (SKU JL4162) answers with a continuous plane of 1/4" heat-treated aluminum covering the oil pan, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank on 2018-and-newer 4-door JLUs with the 2.0L engine. The built-in oil door keeps service intervals painless, the fuel-tank strap eliminates the factory tank drop, and the no-overlap panel layout means any section unbolts on its own. It is the foundation of a system that can grow to include exhaust and eTorque skids.
Features
- 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum panels at roughly a third the weight of comparable steel armor
- Front skid shaped specifically for the 2.0L turbo oil pan
- Flush protection for oil pan, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank
- Integrated oil door opens for drain and filter access
- Modular no-overlap design accepts the exhaust and eTorque skid modules
- Fuel-tank support strap deletes the factory tank drop for extra clearance
- 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets and countersunk OEM-thread hardware; CNC laser cut and formed in the USA
This kit is engine-specific: 3.6L, diesel, and 392 JLUs each need their own version, such as the 3.6L 2021+ bellypan. Non-eTorque 2.0L trucks can add the JLU exhaust skid for the low-hanging exhaust, or start with the 2.0L oil skid alone. Compare the whole family in our skid plates collection.
Full Bellypan with Oil Door for Jeep Wrangler JLU 2.0L 2018+ (4 Door, Aluminum) FAQs
Is this bellypan really specific to the 2.0L turbo?
Yes. The front skid is cut around the 2.0L oil pan, so the 3.6L, 3.0L diesel, and 392 bellypans will not interchange with it. Unlike the 3.6L, the 2.0L kit is not split by model year — one version covers 2018-and-newer 4-door JLUs.
Can I add exhaust protection later?
Yes. Artec's exhaust skid and eTorque skid are offered for the 2018+ 4-door JLU with the 3.6L or 2.0L, and they join this bellypan as part of the same modular, no-overlap system. Note the exhaust skid is specified for non-eTorque models, while eTorque trucks use the dedicated eTorque skid.
What is involved in the install?
It is a bolt-on project: 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets mount to factory frame points and the countersunk Artec bolts match OEM thread, so no welding, cutting, or drilling is required. Once installed, the integrated oil door handles oil and filter service, and each panel can unbolt independently.
