Full Bellypan for Jeep Wrangler JLU 392 6.4L Hemi (4 Door, Aluminum)

$3,324.99

The Wrangler 392 ships with thin, gapped factory skids that do not match what the 6.4L Hemi asks of them off-road. Artec Industries' full bellypan (SKU JL4112) replaces them with one continuous run of 1/4" 6061-T6 aluminum covering the oil pan, transmission pan, transfer case, fuel tank, and front exhaust on the 4-door 392. Modeled from factory CAD files and precise 3D scans, it tucks tight to the frame and picks up roughly 3/4" of ground clearance over the OEM skids. Because 6061-T6 has memory, the panels flex on a hard hit and spring back instead of staying dented like steel.

Features

  • 1/4" 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum panels with 3/16" zinc-plated steel mounting brackets
  • Covers oil pan, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank, and front exhaust in one system
  • Adds approximately 3/4" of ground clearance versus the factory skids
  • 6061-T6 memory lets panels flex and return to shape after impacts
  • Fuel-tank support strap eliminates the factory tank drop
  • Far more coverage than the factory skid set at a modest weight penalty
  • Bolt-on install at factory mounting points; designed from factory CAD and 3D scans, made in the USA

This bellypan is engine-specific to the 6.4L Hemi — 3.6L, 2.0L, and diesel JLs use different Artec systems, and the source lists fitment as 2022-and-newer 392s, so confirm your model year with us if you drive a first-year truck. The main underbody is covered here; add the 392 Muffler & Tip Skid for the exposed factory muffler and tailpipe, or start smaller with the 392 oil pan skid. See the whole family in our skid plates collection.

Full Bellypan for Jeep Wrangler JLU 392 6.4L Hemi (4 Door, Aluminum) FAQs

Will this fit my 3.6L or 2.0L Wrangler?

No. This bellypan is shaped around the 6.4L Hemi's oil pan, exhaust routing, and packaging in the 4-door 392, so non-392 JLs cannot use it. Artec builds separate full bellypans for the 3.6L, 2.0L, and 3.0L diesel — pick the kit matched to your engine.

How does an armor kit add ground clearance?

The flat aluminum panels tuck tight against the frame where the stamped factory skids hang lower, gaining roughly 3/4" over stock. The included support strap also eliminates the factory fuel-tank drop. You end up with a flatter belly, fewer snag points, and slightly more room under the Jeep.

Does it protect the 392's muffler and tailpipe?

The bellypan covers the main underbody — oil pan, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank, and front exhaust. The exposed muffler and tip at the rear are shielded by the separate 392 Muffler & Tip Skid, and a MagnaFlow-specific version exists for upgraded exhausts. Together they complete the 392's underside.
