Front Fender Chop Kit Brackets for Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT Rubicon
Chopping the lower half off factory Rubicon fenders buys real tire clearance on a Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT, but it leaves the remaining upper flare floppy and strands the turn and marker lights. These brackets solve both problems at once: laser-cut and CNC-bent from 1/8" steel and engineered from 3D scan files of the factory Rubicon flare, they bolt to the upper fender half to restore its rigidity and give you clean, dedicated mounting locations for relocated marker and turn signals. It is the difference between a hacked chop and a finished one.

Reattach the flares solidly with the JL Fender Chop OEM Replacement Hardware, and open up the wheel wells fully with the JL/JT Front Inner Fenders (Vented). Front Fender Chop Kit Brackets for Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT Rubicon FAQs
Will these work on Sport or Sahara fenders?
No. The brackets are engineered from 3D scan files of the factory Rubicon flare specifically, so they fit the Jeep Wrangler JL (2018 and up) and Gladiator JT (2020 and up) with Rubicon fenders only. Sport and Sahara flares have different shapes and mounting.
Will I still have working turn signals after the chop?
Yes. Cutting the lower fender half removes the factory light locations, and these brackets provide dedicated mounting points to relocate the marker and turn signal lights. LED turn signals are sold separately if you need to maintain DOT compliance.
Is welding or fabrication required?
No. The brackets are a direct bolt-on using the included hardware and instructions — drill-and-bolt work with hand tools. Many owners pair them with Artec's fender chop OEM replacement hardware for a stiffer reattachment of the flare itself.
