Front Bumper Rock Guard for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL & Gladiator JT
Artec's Front Bumper Rock Guard (JK2308) is a 1/4" aerospace-grade aluminum face plate that bolts over the center section of an Artec Jeep front bumper. It takes the scrapes and rock rash that would otherwise chew up your bumper's powder coat, helps deflect trail hits away from the fenders, and gives the front end a sharper, more finished look while it does it. The guard is contoured to Artec's JK, JL, and JT front bumpers — it is an add-on for those bumpers, not a standalone piece. Countersunk mounting holes keep the flat-head bolts flush so there is nothing for a rock to grab.

Is this a complete front bumper?
No. The rock guard is a bolt-on face plate for Artec's JK, JL, and JT front bumpers, including the Nighthawk, Nighthawk Stinger, and High Clearance designs. You need one of those compatible Artec bumpers already on the Jeep — it does not mount to factory or other aftermarket bumpers.
Will the mounting bolts hang up on rocks?
No. The mounting holes are countersunk for flat-head bolts, so the fasteners sit flush with the 1/4" aluminum face instead of protruding. That keeps the guard sliding over obstacles rather than snagging, and the hardware is included in the box.
Does the aluminum need any finishing?
It ships bare so you can powder coat or paint it to match your rig. Unlike bare steel, bare aluminum will not rust if you choose to run it raw, but most builders coat it for a uniform look alongside the bumper — many run it in a contrasting color as an accent piece.
