Does this bumper fit both the TJ and the LJ?
Yes. It is designed for the Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006) and the longer-wheelbase Wrangler Unlimited LJ (2004-2006). Both use the same rear frame mounting, so the bumper bolts on in place of the factory unit on either Jeep.
Is welding or drilling required to install it?
No. This is a direct bolt-on replacement that uses the factory mounting locations and the supplied hardware. Pull the stock bumper, bolt this one up with hand tools, and the job is done in a driveway.
Are the recovery points actually usable for extractions?
