Apex Front Axle Truss for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018

The Artec Apex Front Axle Truss is a weld-on housing reinforcement for the front Dana 30 or Dana 44 under the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU. Stock JK tubes are known to bend once 35s or 37s, lockers, and hard landings enter the picture, and a bent housing eats ball joints, unit bearings, and alignment settings. Artec's answer is a patented peaked-top truss, CNC laser cut from 1/8" mild steel and pre-bent in-house so it drops over the housing ready to weld. At roughly 7 lbs it stiffens the axle end to end without piling on unsprung weight, and it was engineered from 3D models supplied by Dana and Jeep so it clears the cast center section and the front axle disconnect.

Select the variant that matches your front axle: JK4451 for the Dana 44 under Rubicons, JK3051 for the Dana 30 under Sport and Sahara models. This is a weld-on part best handled by an experienced welder; Artec recommends preheating the cast center section to around 400 degrees and letting the axle cool slowly over 18-24 hours under a welding blanket.
