APEX Truss Upper Link Mounts

$55.99

The APEX Truss Upper Link Mounts give a custom 3-link or 4-link suspension a strong, repeatable attachment point for the upper control arms. Laser cut and CNC bent from 1/4" steel, each mount bolts your upper link to a flat surface such as an axle truss, and with the optional APEX gussets the pair drops straight onto Artec's APEX rear trusses. Three link positions let you tune geometry without cutting new brackets, making these the mounting backbone for a linked rear axle build.

Features

  • CNC laser cut and CNC bent in-house from 1/4" steel
  • 2.625" mounting width with a 9/16" upper-link bolt hole
  • Three adjustable link positions at 7", 8", and 9" from the axle centerline to dial in anti-squat and pinion angle
  • Mounts to any flat surface; pairs with APEX gussets to land directly on Artec APEX rear trusses
  • Suits 3.0" to 3.5" diameter axle tubes
  • Available as a single, a pair, or a pair with APEX gussets
  • Engineered from 3D scan files and made in the USA

These are universal fabrication parts rather than a vehicle-specific bolt-on: each mount arrives as four unwelded pieces that assemble on a jig and then weld to your truss or flat surface, so basic fabrication skills are required. They pair naturally with the UD60 Rear APEX Short Truss or UD80 APEX Rear Axle Truss; front-axle builds use the APEX Front Truss Upper Link Mount. APEX Truss Upper Link Mounts FAQs

Do these mounts require welding?

Yes. Each mount ships as four unwelded pieces that assemble accurately on a jig, then weld to your truss or other flat mounting surface. Plan on basic fabrication and welding skills — the payoff is a mount that sits square and repeatable instead of eyeballed.

Do I need the APEX gussets?

Only when mounting to an Artec APEX rear truss — the gusset locates and reinforces the mount over the truss's peaked top, so order the "Pair with APEX Gussets" option for that setup. On a flat truss or fabricated surface the mounts work on their own.

What link hardware and geometry do they support?

The bolt hole is 9/16", and the three positions at 7", 8", and 9" from the axle centerline let you tune upper-link angle, anti-squat, and pinion behavior. The mount geometry suits axle tubes from 3.0" to 3.5" in diameter, covering common 1-ton housings.
