APEX Front Truss Upper Link Mount (Single), 2.63 in Wide
The APEX Front Truss Upper Link Mount is a single weld-on bracket that sets the upper-link pickup point on a trussed or fabricated front axle. CNC laser cut and bent from 1/4" steel with a 2.625" mounting width, it is built for Artec's APEX one-ton front swap kits and front trusses, and its three hole positions let you place the link where the geometry wants it instead of where a fixed bracket dictates. For a three-link or four-link front end, this is the piece that makes the upper link repeatable.
Features
- CNC laser cut and CNC bent from 1/4" steel
- 2.625" mounting width with a 9/16" bolt hole for common link hardware
- Three link positions at 7", 8", and 9" from the axle centerline to tune upper-link angle
- Fits 3.0" and 3.5" axle tube diameters
- Ships as four unwelded pieces that assemble accurately on a jig
- Engineered from 3D scan data and made in the USA (SKU BR1145)
This is fabrication hardware rather than a vehicle-specific bolt-on: it welds to Artec APEX one-ton front swap kits and front trusses on 3.0" or 3.5" tube housings, and it is sold as a single — order two for a dual upper-link front end, or grab the APEX Truss Upper Link Mounts for pair and gusseted rear-truss options. It pairs naturally with the UD60 Front APEX Truss on an Ultimate Dana 60 front build. Welding is required, so plan on a competent fabricator. More housing hardware: axle reinforcements.
APEX Front Truss Upper Link Mount (Single), 2.63 in Wide FAQs
Is this a pair or a single mount?
A single mount. Order two if your front end runs dual upper links, or one for a single-triangulated upper. Artec also sells the APEX Truss Upper Link Mounts listing with single, pair, and pair-with-gusset options aimed at the rear trusses.
What does it mount to?
It welds onto Artec's APEX one-ton front swap kits and front trusses, fitting axle housings with 3.0" or 3.5" tube diameters. The three holes at 7", 8", and 9" from the axle centerline let you set the upper-link position to suit your geometry.
How does it go together?
The mount arrives as four unwelded, CNC-cut pieces that assemble accurately with a jig, then weld to the truss or housing. That keeps shipping simple and the final geometry square, but it does mean welding and basic fabrication skills are required.
