Morimoto's XB LED fog lights (LF371) are a plug-in replacement for the stock halogen fog lamps on the 1999-2005 Ford Excursion. Each light carries three Nichia 5500K LEDs behind a projector optic, which the vendor rates at about 1,200 raw lumens per light, and the housing reuses the factory mounting locations and connector.
The beam is wide and evenly spread, which is what a fog lamp should do, and the lights are listed as meeting SAE, DOT and ECE requirements. The housing is powder-coated cast aluminum that doubles as a heat sink, paired with a UV-resistant polycarbonate lens to handle moisture and road debris. An optional Yellow Lamin-X film kit is listed with the package if you want a yellow tint. An integrated height adjuster handles beam aiming, and the lights work with the original cabin controls.
Fitment
Listed fitment is the 1999-2005 Ford Excursion. They replace Ford part numbers 6C3Z-15200-AA, 6C3Z-15200-BA, 7C3Z15200AA, 7C3Z15201AA, BC3Z15200A, BC3Z15201A and XL3Z13466A. Morimoto guarantees fitment on the listed vehicles only. The vendor notes that some models may require minor modification.
