The Morimoto X3B is a replacement LED third brake light for the 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner. Instead of a flat factory lens, it uses a 3D optic with six jewel-style lenses, each lit by a 3-watt red LED, all inside a piano-black polycarbonate housing. It is a styling upgrade first, and the look is deliberately subtle: black housing, clear UV-resistant polycarbonate lens, red output.
The point of the design is that nothing about the install is unusual. It reuses the original mounting points, sits like the factory unit and connects to the stock wire harness through a Toyota multi-pin OEM plug. Morimoto says it meets DOT and SAE requirements and backs it with a five-year warranty.
Fitment
Listed for the 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner. It replaces Toyota part numbers 81570-47051, 81570-47050, 81006-52050 and 81570-58030. Morimoto developed these for North American vehicles and does not guarantee compatibility on vehicles built for other markets.
What's included
One Morimoto X3B LED third brake light.
Install notes
No modifications are required. Morimoto puts the install at a few minutes, using the existing mounting points and factory connector.
