The 3.0L EcoDiesel Wrangler hangs its diesel exhaust fluid tank low enough that one bad line through a rock garden can end the trip. This Artec DEF Skid covers that tank with 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum on zinc-plated steel brackets, bolting up with countersunk hardware that matches the OEM thread. It was developed from factory CAD files and Creaform 3D laser scans, so it hugs the tank instead of hanging below it, and it slots into Artec's no-overlap diesel bellypan system as the DEF piece of the puzzle. If you wheel an EcoDiesel JLU, this is the component that keeps a punctured DEF tank off your repair bill.

Which Wrangler does this DEF skid fit?
It fits the 4-door Jeep Wrangler JLU with the 3.0L EcoDiesel, 2020-2023. The skid is engine-specific — gas-powered JLs don't carry a DEF tank, so this part only applies to the diesel.
Is this a bolt-on install or do I need to weld?
