About KC HiLiTES

In 1970 Pete and Carol Brown put aircraft landing lights into rugged housings for their truck, and most people credit that with starting the off-road auxiliary light business. The name comes from the K in Pete's middle name, Kim, and the C in Carol.

The company moved to Williams, Arizona in 1974 and is headquartered in Flagstaff today. The Daylighter and its smiley-face cover made KC famous; the current lineup runs on Gravity LED optics, FLEX ERA pods, SlimLite and Profile lights, plus Platform One roof racks.

What we carry from KC HiLiTES

LED light bars, pod and cube lights, fog and ditch lights and ditch light kits, rock and underhood lights, back-up and chase lights, replacement headlights, light covers, wiring harnesses, mounts and replacement lenses and parts.

We also carry KC's Platform One roof racks with 360-degree lighting, plus vehicle-specific kits for the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra, Land Cruiser, Lexus GX, Ford Bronco, Ranger, F-150 and Super Duty, Ram, Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon and Sprinter.

How to choose

Decide where the light will be used before you decide how bright it should be.

• Driving on the road with them? Look for SAE-rated beams or covers. Spot and flood beams are generally off-road only.
• Master Kits and Pair Pack Systems are complete. A single light may also need a wiring harness, sold separately.
• Gravity Pro6 bars are modular, so one damaged module gets replaced instead of the whole bar.
• Ditch light kits, bumper bars and racks are year-range specific. Confirm your generation.

In-stock items ship from NVMOS in 24–48 hours. Some KC items ship direct from the brand or are built to order, so check the product page for availability or call us and we'll tell you where your order stands. Current estimates live on our lead times page; they're estimates, and they change. KC says most of its orders are processed in 1–5 days, and long-lead items such as Pro6 light bars can take longer.

KC HiLiTES warranty

Eligible KC products bought after August 31, 2025 carry the KC Adventure Further Unlimited Lifetime Warranty: repair or replace for failure or damage under normal use, fully transferable, once you register within 60 days.
