Because this is a socket-based bulb rather than a vehicle-specific part, confirm your factory fog light bulb size before ordering. Are these bulbs DRL-compatible?
Yes. The V-Series is the first ORACLE LED bulb designed for 6-volt daytime running light circuits, with 6-32V DC protection to prevent common flicker. The bulb dims to roughly 50% brightness in DRL mode, just like a factory halogen. Your vehicle must be 6-volt compatible for the DRL function to work correctly - if your DRL circuit pulls less than 6 volts, flickering may occur.

Do these need a cooling fan or external driver?
No. The V-Series uses SmartDrive Active Thermal Regulation - an integrated linear driver that manages heat electronically instead of relying on a fan or large heat sink. Everything is contained in the die-cast bulb body, so there are no external drivers to mount.

Are these a plug-and-play installation?
Yes. These bulbs are a direct replacement for your factory H1 fog light bulbs and install in the existing socket - no cutting or splicing required. On the vehicles noted above, a CAN-Bus decoder harness may be needed to prevent flicker or error messages.
