The Starter Build // 4 Bike pairs the Big Days Base Rack with four Bike Mounts, plus the drop brackets and lower bike-stability bar that keep everything planted. It's a complete chase rack package for shuttle laps, race weekends, and getting the whole crew's bikes to the trailhead without giving up your bed. Bikes ride up top on the crossbar while the floor below stays open for coolers, camp boxes, and firewood — your truck still works like a truck.

What truck beds does the Starter Build // 4 Bike fit?
Beds from 4'10" to 8' long with an inside width of 40" to 64". Fitment is determined by bed size rather than year, make, or model, so measure your bed length and inside width to confirm. This four-bike configuration is designed around mid-size trucks; full-size owners can look at the 5 Bike build.
How much weight can the rack carry?
Up to 900 lbs, per Big Days' published spec. The rack itself weighs 70 lbs and is built from 3/16" A36 steel risers with T6 alloy crossbars. Each bike mount accepts wheel sizes from 20" to 29", so four full-size trail bikes sit well within the rating.
How does the Starter Build differ from the Essential, Pro, and Elite builds?
Every Big Days build starts from the same Base Rack — the tiers differ in what's bundled onto it. The Starter keeps it simple: rack, four bike mounts, drop brackets, and stability bar.
