Group 25-35 Optima Battery Mount

$95.69

This Artec mount is built to hold both the older Group 25 and the newer Group 35 Optima battery, and it clears all terminal configurations, so the life source of your rig stays locked in place. It is CNC-cut as one piece from 10-gauge cold-roll steel with pressed-in PEM nuts and a window so you can still read the battery specs after install.

Fitment & Compatibility

Universal mount. This is a battery-specific tray designed to hold the listed battery securely in a custom or relocated install (engine bay, cargo area, or dual-battery setup); it is not tied to one vehicle chassis, though some fabrication or adaptation may be required to place it in your rig. Confirm your battery matches the group/model this mount is cut for before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which batteries does this fit?
Both the earlier Group 25 and the newer Group 35 Optima batteries, and it clears all terminal configurations.

What are the pressed-in PEM nuts for?
They are self-clinching nuts pressed into the mount so the hold-down bolts thread directly into it, without loose backing nuts.

Can I still read the battery specs after mounting?
Yes, a window cutout keeps the battery label visible once installed.

Does it need a coating?
Yes. It ships in bare steel and must be coated to prevent rust before use.

Is there a mount for other Optima groups, and how do I bolt it down?
For the Group 51 Optima see the Group 51 Optima mount. To secure this mount to your rig, add the 4-bolt battery mounting kit.
