The JK2TJ Triangulated Swap Kit with Truss lets you drop a Jeep Wrangler JK rear Dana 44 axle into a Wrangler TJ and convert the rear suspension to a triangulated four-link, eliminating the factory track bar for cleaner geometry and more articulation. It reinforces the full axle housing while providing every mounting point the swap requires.
Key Features
- In-house CNC laser cut from 3/16" and 1/4" mild steel for far greater strength than factory or typical aftermarket brackets
- Includes upper and lower control arm mounts, shock mounts, anti-sway bar mounts, and coil spring mounts for a complete rear axle swap
- Triangulated upper control arm design eliminates the rear track bar
- Truss upper link mounts are 2.63" wide to accept 1.25" rod ends and other large joints
- Outer brackets locate directly off the truss, so there is no guessing or measuring and hours of install time are saved
- Optional High-Clearance configuration uses flat LCA brackets and shock mounts to reduce rock damage
Fitment & Compatibility
Designed to install a Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) rear Dana 44 axle into a Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006). Because it converts the rear to a triangulated four-link, it is not for use with OEM control arms; new upper links and frame-side brackets are required. Building the front too? Pair it with the JK2TJ Front Axle Swap Kit with Truss, and finish the rear links with a 4 Link Tube and End Kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
What vehicle and axle does this kit fit?
It is built to swap a Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) rear Dana 44 axle into a Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006).
Does this eliminate the track bar?
Yes. The kit uses triangulated upper control arms, so a rear track bar is no longer needed.
Can I reuse my factory control arms?
No. Because it is a triangulated four-link, you will need new upper links and frame-side brackets. Factory OEM control arms are not compatible.
Does installation require welding?
Yes. The truss and brackets are weld-on parts and require welding along with general fabrication skill to install correctly.
What does the High-Clearance option change?
It swaps the lower control arm brackets and shock mounts for flat versions that reduce the chance of rock damage on the trail.
