Toyota Tacoma 3rd Gen Full Skid Plate System - A-arm, Bellypan, Fuel
This is complete, front-to-back underbody armor for the 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma in one package. The Artec Full Skid Plate System combines A-arm skids, a full bellypan, and a fuel tank skid, all cut from 1/4" 6061 aluminum, to protect every vulnerable component under the truck while keeping weight down compared to steel.
Key Features
- Complete system: A-arm skids, bellypan, and fuel tank skid for full underbody coverage
- Protects the oil pan, transmission pan, transfer case, front exhaust, and fuel tank
- 1/4" 6061 T6 aluminum skids with 3/16" zinc-plated steel support brackets
- 6061 aluminum resists gouging better than competitors' 5052 and weighs about a third less than an equivalent steel setup
- Designed from factory CAD files and Creaform 3D laser scans for precise, no-overlap fitment
- Built-in access points make oil changes and service easy without dropping the whole system

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Tacoma configuration does this fit?
The 3rd Generation Toyota Tacoma (2016-present) in the 4-door, short-bed configuration.
What does the full system protect?
The oil pan, transmission pan, transfer case, front exhaust, and fuel tank, plus the front lower A-arms.
Can I service the truck with the skids installed?
Yes. The panels are designed with access points so you can do things like oil changes without removing the entire system.
Why aluminum instead of steel?
1/4" 6061 aluminum gives heavy-duty protection at roughly a third of the weight of comparable steel, so it is easier to install and remove and holds its shape rather than denting.
