The Toyota 4Runner 5G A-Arm Skids bolt directly to the lower control arms of your 5th-generation 4Runner to shield the CV boots, alignment bolts, and lower ball joints from rocks and trail debris. Cut and formed from 1/4" 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum, they add serious protection while adding only a few pounds of unsprung weight, and their contoured shape keeps your ground clearance intact.
Key Features
- One-piece design CNC laser cut and formed from 1/4" aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum, a tougher grade than the 5052 many competitors use
- TIG welded for maximum strength and backed by a lifetime warranty on welds, cracking, and bending
- Adds only about 7 lbs of unsprung weight per pair
- Contoured to protect without sacrificing ground clearance
- Countersunk bolts leave a smooth bottom that slides over obstacles
- Shields the lower A-arm, CV boots, and alignment cam bolts from impacts
Fitment & Compatibility
Fits the 5th-generation Toyota 4Runner (2010-2024), bolting directly to the OEM lower A-arms. These skids are not compatible with KDSS-equipped models, and if you run the factory TRD skid plates a minor bit of trimming is needed for clearance. Pair them with the 4Runner 5th Gen Full Skid Plate System, or add the 4Runner 5th Gen Bellypan System and Fuel Tank Skid for full underbody coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which 4Runners does this fit?
The 5th-generation Toyota 4Runner (2010-2024). It bolts to the OEM lower A-arms.
Will these work on a KDSS 4Runner?
No. These A-arm skids are not compatible with KDSS-equipped models.
Do I need to modify anything to install them?
Installation is roughly 20-30 minutes; some models require drilling one hole per arm for a rivnut, and if you run the factory TRD skids a small amount of trimming is needed for clearance.
How much weight do they add?
Only about 7 lbs per pair, and the contoured shape means no loss of ground clearance.
Why 6061 aluminum instead of steel or 5052?
1/4" 6061 is a tougher grade than the 5052 aluminum many competitors use, giving heavy-duty protection at a fraction of the weight of steel, with a lifetime warranty on welds, cracking, and bending.
