TJ Boatside Body Mounts - OEM Height

The TJ Boatside Body Mounts replace the weak, rot-prone factory body mounts on the Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ with heavy 3/16" steel mounts that double as a skid. The underside is fully boxed and angled so the tub slides over obstacles instead of catching, curing the classic problem of stock mounts snagging on rocks or rusting off the frame. This is the OEM-height (stock) version.

Why replace the factory body mounts?
The stock TJ/LJ mounts are weak, hang down where they catch on obstacles, and often rust off the frame. These boxed steel mounts are stronger and tuck up to improve clearance.

Does this version add lift?
No. This is the OEM/stock-height version. A separate 1.25"-lift version is available if you want to raise the body.

Do they require welding?
Yes. They are laser-cut, weld-together mounts with locating tabs to align the pieces; welding and fabrication skill are required.

Do the mounts act as a skid?
Yes. The boxed, angled underside doubles as a skid to help the tub slide over rocks instead of hanging up.
