If you have switched a Jeep TJ, LJ, XJ, or ZJ to crossover (high) steering, your factory trackbar geometry no longer matches the draglink — and that mismatch shows up as bump steer and wander. Artec's Raised Trackbar Bracket for the TJ Front Axle replaces the factory bracket and raises the axle-side mount so the trackbar runs parallel to the draglink again. It is a small piece that makes crossover-steered front ends drive the way they should.
Key Features
- Laser-precise 1/4" mild steel, CNC cut and bent for accurate fitment on the front axle.
- Purpose-built to accompany crossover / high steer conversions on the front Jeep axle.
- Raises the roll center for greater on- and off-camber stability.
- Three holes of adjustment to dial in ideal trackbar-to-draglink geometry.
- Works great alongside an Artec front truss for a fully reinforced housing.
- 1/2" mounting holes can be drilled out to 3/4" for larger trackbar hardware.
Fitment & Compatibility
Fits the front Dana 30 and Rubicon Dana 44 axles found in the Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006) and LJ Unlimited (2004-2006), Cherokee XJ (1984-2001), and Grand Cherokee ZJ (1993-1998). It is intended for builds running crossover / high steer; if you have retained factory steering, use the stock-style bracket instead. Pair it with the Artec Front Axle Truss for TJ, LJ, ZJ for a stronger, straighter front housing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Jeeps does this bracket fit?
The front Dana 30 and Rubicon Dana 44 axles under the TJ (1997-2006), LJ (2004-2006), XJ Cherokee (1984-2001), and ZJ Grand Cherokee (1993-1998).
Do I need this if I run crossover steering?
Yes. Crossover steering raises the draglink; without a raised trackbar mount the two are no longer parallel, which causes bump steer. This bracket restores that parallel relationship.
Does it need to be welded on?
Yes, it is a weld-on replacement for the factory axle-side trackbar bracket. Mock up your trackbar angle before committing final welds, and use the three adjustment holes to fine-tune geometry.
Can I run larger trackbar hardware?
The 1/2" mounting holes can be drilled out to 3/4" to accept larger bolts if your build calls for it.
