This Alpha Series oil skid (SKU JL4189) protects the front of the belly, the oil and transmission pan, on the 3.0L EcoDiesel Jeep Wrangler JLU and Gladiator JT. Its defining feature is the integrated oil door: a removable access panel that opens for oil changes and filter service so you never have to drop the skid for routine maintenance.

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits the 4-door Jeep Wrangler JLU (2018-present) and Jeep Gladiator JT (2020-present) with the 3.0L EcoDiesel engine. This is the front oil-pan module; pair it with the diesel transfer-case/fuel/DPF skid to cover the rest of the belly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to remove the skid to change my oil?
No. That is exactly what the oil door solves. It opens for drain-plug and filter access so oil changes are done without pulling the plate.

Which vehicles does it fit?
The 3.0L EcoDiesel 4-door JLU and the 3.0L EcoDiesel Gladiator JT. The diesel oil-pan geometry is shared between the two platforms.

What else do I need for full coverage?
Add the diesel transfer-case/fuel/DPF skid (JLU or JT) to armor the rear of the belly.

Is welding required?
No. It bolts to factory points with Artec's OEM-thread countersunk hardware.
