JK Inner C Gussets

The Artec JK Inner C Gussets add real reinforcement to one of the most abused spots on a lifted Wrangler - the inner C on the front axle. Cut from 1/4" mild steel and shaped to wrap the factory inner C, they tie the C into the tube and fight the flex and cracking that big tires and hard hits create. They fit the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK front Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles.

Which axles do these fit?
They fit the front Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles found under the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU.

Do the gussets need to be welded?
Yes. The gussets are shaped to wrap the inner C and are welded to both the C and the axle tube. A competent MIG or TIG welder is required.

Why gusset the inner C?
The inner C carries steering and suspension loads through the ball joints and knuckle. On heavy, high-traction, big-tire builds this area flexes and can crack. Gusseting ties the C solidly to the tube and greatly reduces that flex.

Can I run these with a front truss?
Yes - they are designed to complement a top truss and are a common addition when building a stronger front housing.
