The High Clearance Rear Bumper Corner Pod Skids are replaceable aluminum bash plates for the corner end pods of Artec's Bantam Series rear bumper on the Jeep Gladiator JT. They bolt over the outer pods and act as a sacrificial layer, so the abrasion and impacts of dragging the rear corners over rocks land on cheap, swappable aluminum instead of your powder-coated steel.

Do these fit on their own?
No. They bolt onto the high-clearance rear corner pods on the Gladiator JT. You need those pods installed for the skids to mount.

Why bother with sacrificial skids?
The rear corners take a beating on off-camber terrain. Letting inexpensive aluminum skids absorb that wear means you replace a bolt-on plate instead of repairing or refinishing the steel corner pods.

Is any cutting or welding needed?
No. They bolt to existing points on the corner pods with the supplied hardware.

Is there a matching skid for the middle of the bumper?
Yes. Add the High Clearance Rear Bumper Center Bash Skid to protect the center section the same way.
