Coil Correction Plate

$159.99

If your front coil springs sit on a flat factory plate with an uneven, curved bottom, they can bow and load unevenly. Artec Industries' Coil Correction Plates give the spring a base that actually follows the curvature of the coil, so it seats square and stays put. This pair is CNC laser-cut from 1/4-inch steel and made in the USA, and each plate has a 1/2-inch coarse-thread hole so it works cleanly with coil retainer plates.

Key Features

  • CNC laser-cut from 1/4-inch steel
  • Contoured base that follows the spring's curvature to stop coil bowing
  • 1/2-inch coarse-thread hole for easy use with coil retainer plates
  • Clockable to any angle to index correctly on larger lifts
  • Sold as a pair; made in the USA

Fitment & Compatibility

Designed for Jeep TJ front coil springs. Per Artec, they also work on XJ (Cherokee) and ZJ (Grand Cherokee) applications when running a Dana 60, and a rear application is possible on lifted TJs using the alternate model. These are a fabrication component for lifted and coil-swapped builds. For a matched setup, see the TJ Rear Coil Correction Kit, the coil bracket replacement for TJ/LJ/XJ/ZJ front axle, and TJ rear coil perches and retainers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What problem do these solve?
They stop front coil springs from bowing when a curved-bottom coil is forced to sit on a flat plate, giving the spring a contoured base that matches its shape so it seats squarely.

What do they fit?
They are made for Jeep TJ front coil springs, and per Artec also work on XJ and ZJ builds running a Dana 60. A rear application is possible on lifted TJs using the alternate part.

Do they need to be welded on?
Yes. The correction plates weld onto the existing flat coil plate. Because they are clockable, you can rotate each one to the correct angle before welding, which matters on larger lifts.

Are they sold individually or as a pair?
They come as a pair, covering both driver and passenger front coils.
