Tube Adapter 3-4 inch - 16 TPI for 1.0in ID -1.5in OD
The Artec Industries Tube Adapter is a threaded weld-in insert for building smaller adjustable links and rods from 1.0" ID tubing. It accepts a 3/4"-16 TPI rod end and turns plain tube into a clean, adjustable bar, with the same weld-friendly detailing as Artec's larger adapters.
Key Features
- 3/4"-16 TPI thread to accept a 3/4" rod end.
- Sized for 1.0" ID tubing; the OD matches thick-wall tube for a sleeker look.
- ID matches the tube for a tight fit that increases strength.
- Full-length threading for a more positive thread engagement.
- Beveled edge for easy welding with no grinding, plus a flat on the OD so the weld edge is not on an angled surface.
- Wrench flats for a smooth appearance and simple adjustment.
Fitment & Compatibility
Universal fabrication hardware for building custom links and rods from 1.0" ID tubing with 3/4" rod ends. Use a right-hand (standard) adapter on one end and a left-hand (reverse) on the other for an adjustable assembly, and lock each rod end with the matching 3/4"-16 TPI Jam Nut. A larger 1.25"-12 TPI adapter and a 7/8"-14 TPI adapter are available for heavier links.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tubing does this fit?
It is sized for tube with a 1.0" inside diameter, so it seats tightly inside the tube for a strong weld.
What thread does it take?
It is threaded 3/4"-16 TPI to accept a 3/4" rod end.
Do I need both left- and right-hand adapters?
For an adjustable link, yes: pairing a right-hand and a left-hand adapter lets you change length by turning the tube.
How is it welded in?
The beveled edge welds without grinding and the flat on the OD keeps the weld edge off an angled surface for a cleaner, stronger joint.
How do I lock the length?
Use the matching 3/4"-16 TPI Jam Nut against the adapter once the rod end is set.
