Triangulated TJ Sterling 1-ton Swap Kit with Truss
The Triangulated TJ Sterling 1-ton Swap Kit with Truss is built to put a Ford Super Duty Sterling one-ton rear axle under a Jeep TJ Wrangler while deleting the track bar. Heavy 3/8" and 1/4" trussing reinforces the housing and triangulated upper links locate the axle, giving you a one-ton rear that takes serious abuse without the failure points of a track bar.
Key Features
- 3/8" thick truss top with 1/4" thick truss gussets and 1/4" thick brackets for much higher strength than factory or typical aftermarket brackets. Precision CNC cut and bent.
- Includes all the brackets for a complete swap: upper and lower control arm mounts, shock mounts, and coil spring mounts.
- Eliminates the track bar with triangulated upper control arms for stronger, cleaner rear geometry.
- Outer brackets self-locate to the truss, removing the guesswork and measuring from installation.
- Truss upper link mount width is 2.63" to accept a 1.25" rod end kit or other large joints.
- Note: does not include factory-style sway bar mounts. The large Sterling third member will not clear a factory TJ sway bar, so an aftermarket rear sway bar is required.
Fitment & Compatibility
Designed to swap a Ford Super Duty Sterling one-ton rear axle into the Jeep TJ Wrangler (1997-2006). This is a triangulated four-link design and is not for use with OEM control arms; new upper links and frame-side brackets are required.
