TJ 30-44 Lower Control Arm Brackets (pair)

$87.99

These Artec Lower Control Arm Brackets rebuild the front-axle LCA mounts on your Jeep with a stronger, deeper-wrapping design than the thin factory brackets they replace. Cut from 1/4-inch boxed steel plate, they beef up one of the most abused joints on a TJ-platform front axle and are equally at home on a Dana 30 or Dana 44 housing. Sold as a weld-on pair.

Key Features

  • Made from 1/4-inch boxed steel plate for strength and impact resistance
  • 2.625-inch mounting width fits common cartridge joints (Johnny Joint, Flex, Ballistic, etc.) and factory control arm bushings
  • Normal 9/16-inch bolt-hole version
  • Bracket wraps farther around the axle tube than factory for additional weld surface, greatly reducing the chance it can rip off
  • Grease-fitting access on top for easy maintenance of your hardest-working joint
  • Sold as a pair for the front axle

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits the front axle on the Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ (1997-2006), Cherokee XJ, Comanche MJ, and Grand Cherokee ZJ running a Dana 30 or Dana 44 housing. They also work great on TJ and LJ Rubicon models. These are weld-on brackets, so professional welding is required. Confirm your control arm joint or bushing measures 2.625 inches wide before ordering. If you want the larger bolt-hole version, see the Artec TJ 30-44 HD Lower Control Arm Brackets, and pair these with a Front Axle Truss for TJ, LJ, ZJ for a fully reinforced front housing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Jeeps do these fit?
The front Dana 30 or Dana 44 axle on the Wrangler TJ and LJ (1997-2006), Cherokee XJ, Comanche MJ, and Grand Cherokee ZJ, including TJ and LJ Rubicon models.

Do these need to be welded on?
Yes. They are weld-on brackets that wrap around the axle tube for extra weld surface, so they should be installed by an experienced welder for full strength.

What control arm joints do they accept?
The 2.625-inch mounting width accepts common cartridge joints such as Johnny Joint, Flex, and Ballistic, as well as factory control arm bushings.

What is the difference between this and the HD version?
This is the normal 9/16-inch bolt-hole version. The HD version uses a larger bolt hole for bigger control arm hardware; choose based on your control arm bolt size.

Can I grease the joint after installing?
Yes. There is grease-fitting access on top of the bracket so you can maintain the joint without disassembly.
