Artec Industries Multi-Purpose Tabs are heavy-duty weld-on mounting tabs from Artec's fabricator's parts line, built for cleanly mounting shocks, links, and rod ends on a custom axle or chassis build. Sold in pairs and offered in two sizes, they give fabricators a strong, good-looking bracket that stands apart from the plain tabs everyone else uses.
Key Features
- CNC laser-cut from 1/4" steel for high strength in double-shear mounting
- Small size accepts shocks and up to 7/8" rod ends with a 1/2" hole
- Large size accepts 1.25" rod ends with a 9/16" hole
- Offset base provides extra surface area for a stronger weld
- Sold in pairs for double-shear link and shock mounts
- Distinctive Artec profile for a finished, custom look
Fitment & Compatibility
These are universal weld-on fabrication tabs, not a vehicle-specific bolt-on. Choose the Small tab for shocks and rod ends up to 7/8" (1/2" bolt hole) or the Large tab for 1.25" rod ends (9/16" bolt hole). They suit any custom link suspension, shock mount, or bracket on Jeep, Toyota, or scratch-built axles and chassis. Welding is required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which size do I need?
Choose Small for shocks and rod ends up to 7/8" (1/2" hole). Choose Large for 1.25" rod ends (9/16" hole).
Do these need to be welded?
Yes. They are weld-on tabs. The offset base gives you extra material to lay a strong weld against the axle tube or bracket.
Are they sold individually or as a pair?
They are sold in pairs, which is ideal for building double-shear shock and link mounts.
What rod ends fit these tabs?
The Small tab is sized for up to 7/8" rod ends and the Large for 1.25" rod ends. Artec's 7/8" high misalignment spacers pair well with the Small tab, and the Flat Shock Tabs are another option for dedicated shock mounts.
