The Artec Manual Transmission Nutstrip is a small but necessary add-on for anyone installing an Artec JK bellypan on a manual-transmission Jeep. It provides the correct threaded mounting strip so the Artec bellypan bolts up properly around the manual transmission and its crossmember, where the standard automatic-transmission mounting does not line up.
Key Features
- Purpose-built nut strip to adapt the Artec JK bellypan to a manual transmission
- Designed to be added to the JK1010 (or JK1020) bellypan during installation
- Provides correct threaded mounting points for the manual-trans area of the skid
- Works with a simple modification to the existing bellypan bracket (details below)
Fitment & Compatibility
Add this to your Artec JK1010 (or JK1020) bellypan when installing it in a 2012-to-current Jeep Wrangler JK or JKU equipped with a manual transmission. During install, the JK1010-6 bracket in your bellypan needs a slight modification: remove the press nuts from it that correspond to the press nuts in this nut strip. It is not needed on automatic-transmission Jeeps. Use it alongside the Artec JK Under Armor Bellypan Kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need this part?
Only if you are installing an Artec JK1010 or JK1020 bellypan on a 2012-or-newer JK/JKU with a manual transmission. Automatic-transmission Jeeps do not need it.
Why does the manual transmission need a different nut strip?
The manual transmission and crossmember change the mounting in that area, so this nut strip provides threaded points that line up correctly where the standard mounting does not.
Do I have to modify my bellypan?
Yes, slightly. The JK1010-6 bracket in your bellypan needs the press nuts removed that correspond to the press nuts in this nut strip. It is a minor modification during installation.
Does this come with the bellypan?
No. It is a separate add-on for the Artec JK bellypan, which is sold on its own.
