The Low Profile Front Truss is Artec's second-generation reinforcement for the Ultimate Dana 60 front axle. It welds across the full length of the housing to spread load off the cast center section and tubes, then adds an integrated ram mount so a hydraulic-assist or full-hydro steering setup can be run without a separate bracket. The low-profile shape is built to clear oil pans and preserve suspension uptravel on lifted 1-ton builds.

Fitment & Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Ultimate Dana 60 (UD60) front axle assembly, the crate housing commonly run in Jeep Wrangler JL/JK and custom 1-ton swap builds. Because it fits the axle rather than a specific chassis year, it works wherever a UD60 front is installed. The integrated ram mount is intended for hydraulic-assist or full-hydro steering. This is a weld-on part and requires cutting and welding by a competent fabricator.

Do I still need a separate steering ram bracket?
