It pairs the complete JL/JT APEX Front Axle Armor Kit with the JT APEX Rear Axle Truss, so both factory Gladiator housings get the reinforcement they need before you hang 40-inch tires on them. This is the package for a JT owner armoring both axles in a single order.

Key Features

• Includes the full front JL/JT APEX Front Axle Armor Kit: APEX front truss, front LCA skids and inner C gussets
• Front APEX truss is CNC laser-cut from 1/8" mild steel (about 6 lbs) with a patent-pending peaked top that is more rigid than a flat-top truss
• Front LCA skids are 1/4" steel and the inner C gussets are 3/16" steel
• Adds the JT APEX Rear Axle Truss to reinforce the rear housing with the same drop-in, weld-on design
• Both APEX trusses require roughly 70% less welding than previous designs
• Includes a free front axle skid (the JL Shield CAD skid) to armor the front axle disconnect area

Fitment & Compatibility

Built for the Jeep Gladiator JT (2020-present). Select the variant that matches your trim: the JL4510-based kit covers JT Rubicon (all markets), Sport MaxTow and international JT, while the JL4511-based kit covers JT Sport/Overland (US/Canada) and non-US/Canada JL Rubicon. It fits the factory Gladiator front and rear axles and is not designed for Extreme Recon, Mojave or non-OEM aftermarket axles without modification.

Does it require welding?
Yes. Both APEX trusses are weld-on and require competent welding, including welding to the cast center sections and inner Cs. Artec recommends preheating cast areas to about 400°F, alternating welds to limit warping, and a slow cool-down.
