JT 1 TON - APEX Rear 9 inch Truss Swap Kit

$615.99

The JT 1 TON APEX Rear 9 inch Truss Swap Kit is Artec's patent-pending truss package for putting a Ford/Spidertrax 9-inch rear axle under the Jeep Gladiator JT. The peaked-top APEX truss adds housing rigidity for big tires and hard trail use while keeping total weight near 53 lbs and slashing weld time.

Key Features

  • Patent-pending APEX peaked-top truss for greater rigidity than a flat-top design
  • CNC laser cut in-house from 1/4" and 3/16" mild steel — roughly 53 lbs total
  • CNC bent in-house so it drops onto the axle and is ready to weld with no puzzle-piece assembly
  • Modeled from Spidertrax and Jeep 3D data for precise fit and clearance
  • About 70% less welding than previous designs, reducing warping and turnaround time
  • Pre-bent long seams eliminate seam welding

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits the Jeep Gladiator JT (2020-present) converting to a Spidertrax 9-inch rear axle. Designed to accept factory-style link, coil, shock, sway bar, and trackbar mounting with the matching brackets. Welding and fabrication experience required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Gladiator does this fit?
It's built for the 2020-present Jeep Gladiator JT running a Spidertrax/Ford 9-inch rear axle.

Why choose a 9-inch over a 14-bolt or Sterling?
The 9-inch is a lighter one-ton option favored for its aftermarket support and packaging. Artec also offers matched JT kits for the 14-bolt and Sterling 10.5 axles.

Do I need the brackets separately?
Pair this truss with the JT 1 TON APEX Rear Axle Swap Brackets for a complete swap.

Is welding required?
Yes. Expect about 70% less welding than older trusses, but it still calls for a competent welder tacking in stages.
