JMX PRO 3-piece Teflon lined 3-4 in Rod End w- 3-4 in bore
The Artec JMX PRO Rod End is a heavy-duty, three-piece heim joint built for the abuse of steering and suspension links on a serious off-road build. This version pairs a 3/4"-16 threaded shank with a 3/4" bore, and its PTFE-lined race keeps the joint tight and quiet where cheaper rod ends develop slop. It is a direct fit for tie rods, drag links, trackbars, and 3-link/4-link control arms that use 3/4" hardware.
Key Features
- Three-piece serviceable construction, so a worn race can be replaced instead of scrapping the whole joint
- High-strength, heat-treated 4130 chromoly body for maximum load capacity
- Hard-chrome, heat-treated ball riding on a smooth PTFE (Teflon) liner for a tight, low-friction, quiet joint
- 3/4"-16 threaded shank with a 3/4" bore ball
- Available in right-hand (standard) or left-hand (reverse) thread for adjustable link assemblies
Fitment & Compatibility
Universal fabrication component for full-hydro and crossover steering setups, tie rods, drag links, and suspension link arms that use a 3/4"-16 thread and a 3/4" bore. Choose right-hand or left-hand thread to match your link ends so the assembly can be adjusted for length and toe. Commonly used on Jeep and Toyota link and steering builds as well as custom chassis work.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the thread and bore size on this rod end?
It uses a 3/4"-16 threaded shank and a 3/4" bore ball. Match the thread direction (right or left hand) to the corresponding tube adapter or bung on your link.
Do I need a jam nut and misalignment spacers?
Yes. To build a complete link you will want a matching 3/4"-16 jam nut to lock the joint and a set of 3/4" high-misalignment spacers to increase articulation at the bolt.
How does it thread into my link tube?
It threads into a weld-in bung. Artec offers a matching 3/4"-16 tube adapter sized for 1.0" ID / 1.5" OD DOM tubing.
Can it be rebuilt when it wears out?
Yes. The three-piece design lets you replace the race rather than discarding the entire rod end, which is a real advantage over one-piece economy joints on a hard-use rig.
Right hand or left hand – which do I need?
An adjustable link typically uses one right-hand and one left-hand end so you can spin the tube to change length without disconnecting either joint. Order to match your existing hardware.
