This Alpha Series kit (SKU JL4192) is the transfer-case and fuel-tank skid built for the early-production, 3.6L 4-door Jeep Wrangler JLU that uses Artec's "pre-2018" fuel-tank configuration. Jeep revised the JLU underbody during the model's first year, and this version matches the earlier tank layout so the skid seats correctly. It delivers the same flat, no-overlap aluminum belly as the rest of the Alpha Series line.

Fits the 4-door Jeep Wrangler JLU with the 3.6L Pentastar engine in the early-production (Artec "pre-2018") fuel-tank configuration. If your JLU uses the later tank layout, choose the 2018+ JLU T-Case/Fuel kit instead. Verify your underbody before ordering.

How do I know if I need the pre-2018 version?
Jeep changed the JLU fuel tank/underbody during early production. This kit fits the earlier layout; if your truck has the later tank, use the 2018+ kit. When unsure, compare your fuel-tank shape and mounting to both listings or contact us before ordering.
Which engines does it cover?
This version is cut for the 3.6L Pentastar 4-door JLU. The 2.0L and 392 are covered by the 2018+ kit.
Does it include the oil skid?
No. It covers the transfer case and fuel tank only. Add the matching JLU oil skid for front-of-belly protection.
Is welding required?
No. It is a bolt-on install using Artec's OEM-thread countersunk hardware.
