JLU OIL SKID ONLY With Oil Door - 4 door 392 Hemi ALUMINUM
Built for the 6.4L HEMI 392, this Artec Alpha Series oil skid armors the exposed oil pan of the four-door Jeep Wrangler JLU 392 with 1/4-inch heat-treated aluminum. An integrated oil door lets you handle oil changes without pulling the plate, and as a modular piece it locks into Artec's larger bellypan system when you want to build out full underbody coverage.
Key Features
- 1/4" 6061 T6 heat-treated aluminum oil pan skid for high impact strength at low weight
- Integrated oil door opens for oil and filter changes without unbolting the skid
- 3/16" zinc-plated steel mounting brackets tied into factory frame points
- Reverse-engineered from factory CAD and 3D Creaform laser scans, CNC laser cut and formed for a flush OEM fit
- Countersunk Artec hardware matched to OEM thread pitch
- Modular Alpha Series piece that combines with the transfer case, fuel tank, and exhaust skids to build a full bellypan
- Aluminum construction that will not rust like steel armor

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit the 392 four-door only?
Yes. It is cut for the 6.4L HEMI 392 oil pan in the four-door JLU. The gas V6, 2.0L, and diesel oil skids are shaped differently and won't interchange.
Can I do oil changes with it installed?
Yes. That's the point of the oil door: it opens for draining oil and reaching the filter so the skid stays bolted to the Jeep.
Does this cover the whole belly?
No. This is the oil pan skid only. Pair it with the transfer case, fuel tank, and exhaust skids to build full underbody protection, or step up to the 392 Full Bellypan.
What protects the 392 exhaust?
The 392 uses its own exhaust routing; the JLU 392 Muffler & Tip Skid shields the muffler and tip. The 3.6L/2.0L exhaust skid is not for the 392.
Is welding required?
No. It bolts to factory frame mounting points with the supplied countersunk hardware.
