This Alpha Series oil skid (SKU JL4181) protects the oil and transmission pan on the 3.6L Pentastar Jeep Wrangler JL built for the 2018-2020 model years, and fits both 2-door and 4-door trucks. Jeep revised the 3.6L underbody after 2020, so this year-specific version seats correctly on the earlier layout. The integrated oil door lets you service oil and filter without dropping the plate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a 2018-2020 version and a 2021+ version?
Jeep changed the 3.6L underbody/oil-pan area after the 2020 model year. This skid is cut for the 2018-2020 layout; 2021-and-newer trucks need the 2021+ oil skid.

Does it fit 2-door and 4-door?
Yes. The front oil-pan area is shared, so this covers both the 2-door JL and 4-door JLU for 2018-2020 3.6L trucks.

Can I change oil with it on?
Yes. The oil door opens for drain-plug and filter access without removing the skid.

Is welding required?
No. It bolts to factory points with Artec's OEM-thread countersunk hardware.
