The Artec Alpha Series Magnaflow Muffler & Tip Skid (JL4120) shields the rear muffler and exhaust tip on the 392 HEMI-powered four-door Jeep Wrangler JLU when you are running a Magnaflow exhaust. It bolts on as the rearmost module of Artec's Alpha Series aluminum bellypan system, closing the gap the standard 392 bellypan leaves around the side-exit Magnaflow muffler so nothing catches a rock ledge on the way over.

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits the four-door Jeep Wrangler JLU 6.4L 392 HEMI (2021-present) equipped with a Magnaflow exhaust system. This is an add-on skid: it is designed to be run together with the base 392 aluminum bellypan and the frame-side Magnaflow Exhaust Skid (JL4119) for complete underbody coverage. It is cut for the Magnaflow muffler and tip and is not a fit for the factory or other aftermarket exhausts.

Does this fit my 392 Wrangler?
It is built for the four-door JLU 6.4L 392 HEMI (2021-present) with a Magnaflow exhaust. The skid is shaped around the Magnaflow muffler and tip, so it will not clear a factory or non-Magnaflow exhaust.

Do I need anything else to protect the whole underbody?
Yes. This is the rear module of the Alpha Series system. Run it with the base 392 aluminum bellypan and the frame-side Magnaflow Exhaust Skid (JL4119) for full coverage. Artec also offers a combined 392 Bellypan with Magnaflow Exhaust Skid package.

Is welding required to install it?
No. It bolts to 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets and installs with hand tools; no cutting or welding is needed.

Why aluminum instead of steel?
The 1/4" 6061 T6 heat-treated aluminum plate holds up to trail impacts while keeping weight down, which matters on an already heavy 392 build.
