JLU Full Bellypan with Oil Door - 4 door 3.6L ALUMINUM PRE-2018
This Alpha Series full bellypan is cut for the earliest four-door Jeep Wrangler JLU 3.6L builds, which used a different oil pan configuration than later production. It armors the oil pan, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank under one continuous 1/4-inch aluminum plate and includes an integrated oil door for maintenance. Artec offers three 3.6L variants because the oil pan geometry shifted across production.
Key Features
- 1/4" 6061 T6 heat-treated aluminum skid panels for maximum impact resistance at roughly a third the weight of comparable steel armor
- 3/16" zinc-plated steel mounting brackets that bolt to factory frame points
- Integrated oil door lets you change the oil without dropping the skid
- Modular, no-overlap panel design so any single skid can come off without pulling the whole system
- Reverse-engineered from factory CAD data and 3D Creaform laser scans, then CNC laser cut and formed for a tight OEM-matched fit
- Countersunk Artec hardware threaded to match OEM bolt sizes
- Added fuel-tank support strap eliminates the factory tank drop and picks up ground clearance over the stock plastic trays
Fitment & Compatibility
Fits the four-door Jeep Wrangler JLU with the 3.6L V6 in the early/pre-2018-revision production configuration. Artec splits the 3.6L bellypan into pre-2018, 2018-2020, and 2021-plus versions to match oil pan changes, so verify which oil pan your Jeep has before ordering. When in doubt, match by oil pan style rather than paperwork alone.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does PRE-2018 mean if the JL launched in 2018?
It refers to the earliest 3.6L production run, whose oil pan differs from later builds. Artec cuts a dedicated skid for it. If your Jeep is a very early build, compare your oil pan to Artec's fitment images to confirm.
How do I tell which 3.6L version I need?
There are three: pre-2018, 2018-2020, and 2021-plus. The oil pan skid is the piece that changes, so identifying your oil pan is the surest way to pick correctly.
Can I service the oil with it installed?
Yes. The integrated oil door opens for oil and filter changes without removing the skid.
Is welding required?
No. It bolts to factory frame points with the supplied countersunk hardware.
Is this the full bellypan or just one skid?
This is the complete bellypan covering the oil pan, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank. Individual modular skids are also sold separately.
