The exhaust hangs low and takes hits on rocky trails. This Artec Alpha Series exhaust skid wraps that vulnerable section of the four-door Jeep Wrangler JLU in 1/4-inch heat-treated aluminum. It's a modular piece designed for the 3.6L and 2.0L non-eTorque JLU, and it ties into Artec's larger bellypan system when you want continuous underbody coverage.
Key Features
- 1/4" 6061 T6 heat-treated aluminum skid that shields the exhaust from rock strikes and trail debris
- 3/16" zinc-plated steel mounting brackets bolted to factory points
- CNC laser cut and formed from factory CAD and 3D Creaform scans for a flush, low-profile fit
- Countersunk Artec hardware matched to OEM thread pitch
- Modular Alpha Series piece that integrates with the oil, transfer case, and fuel tank skids to complete a full bellypan
- Rust-free aluminum construction that keeps weight down
Fitment & Compatibility
Fits the four-door Jeep Wrangler JLU (2018 and up) with the 3.6L V6 or 2.0L turbo, non-eTorque models only. Artec offers the exhaust and eTorque skids exclusively for the 2018+ four-door 3.6L and 2.0L. The 392 has separate exhaust protection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which engines does this exhaust skid fit?
It is for the 2018-and-up four-door JLU with the 3.6L V6 or 2.0L turbo, non-eTorque models. Artec notes the exhaust and eTorque skids are only offered for the 2018+ four-door 3.6L and 2.0L.
Will it fit my eTorque Jeep?
No. This exhaust skid is specified for non-eTorque builds. eTorque Jeeps use the dedicated JL eTorque Aluminum Skid instead.
Does the 392 use this skid?
No. The 392 has different exhaust routing and is covered by the JLU 392 Muffler & Tip Skid.
Is this a standalone piece or part of a set?
It is a modular Alpha Series skid. Run it on its own for exhaust protection or combine it with the oil, transfer case, and fuel tank skids to build a full bellypan.
Do I need to weld or cut anything?
No. It bolts to factory frame points with the included countersunk hardware.
