The JLU 4xe Engine Oil Skid protects the oil pan area of the plug-in-hybrid Wrangler while keeping routine service painless. Its defining feature is a built-in oil door: a removable access panel that lets you drop the drain plug and filter without unbolting the whole skid. It is the engine-oil section of Artec's modular 4xe underbody system, sold on its own.

What is the oil door for?
