The JL/JT APEX Front Axle Armor Kit is Artec Industries' complete package for turning a factory Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT front axle into the strongest version of itself. It bundles the patent-pending APEX front truss with front lower-control-arm skids and inner C gussets, addressing the two areas that bend and crack on a hard-wheeled front housing: the tube-to-center-section junction and the exposed Front Axle Disconnect (FAD/CAD) housing. Built for owners running big tires who want to keep the OEM axle alive under abuse.

Fitment & Compatibility
Fits the Jeep Wrangler JL (2018-present) and Gladiator JT (2020-present) front axle. Choose by SKU/trim: JL3110 for JL Sport/Sahara (Dana 30/M186), JL4510 for JL Rubicon US/Canada, JT Rubicon all markets and Sport MaxTow, and JL4511 for JT Sport/Overland US/Canada and non-US/Canada JL Rubicon (Dana 44/M210). It does not fit Extreme Recon or Mojave Gladiator front axles without modification, and it is not designed for non-OEM aftermarket axles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which SKU do I need for my Jeep?
JL3110 fits JL Sport/Sahara; JL4510 fits JL Rubicon (US/Canada), JT Rubicon (all markets) and Sport MaxTow; JL4511 fits JT Sport/Overland (US/Canada) and non-US/Canada JL Rubicon. It will not fit Extreme Recon or Mojave front axles without modification.
Does installation require welding?
Yes. This is a weld-on kit that requires general welding and fabrication skill, including welding to the cast center section and cast inner Cs. Artec recommends preheating the cast areas to roughly 400°F and allowing a slow 18-24 hour cool-down, and the job should be done by a competent welder.
Will it clear my suspension?
The peaked truss is tallest at the center, so Artec recommends at least a minor lift (1.5"+) and at least 1/2" bump-stop extensions to maintain clearance at full compression.
Can I buy the truss by itself?
Yes. The JL-JT APEX Front Axle Truss, JL-JT Inner C Gussets, JL Front LCA Skids and JL Shield Front Axle CAD Skid are all available separately if you only need part of the package.
