The Artec Full Bellypan replaces the thin, gapped factory skids on the 4-door Jeep Wrangler 392 with one continuous run of 1/4-inch 6061-T6 aluminum armor. Modeled directly from factory CAD files and ultra-precise 3D scans, it wraps the underbody of the 6.4L HEMI for full-length protection while adding roughly 3/4 inch of ground clearance over the OEM skids.
Key Features
- 1/4" 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum skid plates with 3/16" zinc-plated steel mounting brackets
- 6061-T6 has memory — it flexes on impact and springs back to shape instead of denting and staying dented like steel
- Adds approximately 3/4" of ground clearance versus the factory skids, and more versus many flat aftermarket plates
- Lightweight aluminum covers far more of the underbody than the factory skid set while adding little weight
- Designed from factory CAD files and 3D scans for a precise fit around OEM components
Fitment & Compatibility
Engineered specifically for the 2022 and newer 4-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 (6.4L HEMI). It is model- and engine-specific and is not designed for non-392 JL Wranglers. For the exposed exhaust, pair it with the JLU 392 Muffler & Tip Skid; builders running an upgraded exhaust can add the JLU MagnaFlow Exhaust Skid.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit a non-392 JL Wrangler?
No. This bellypan is designed specifically for the 4-door Wrangler 392 with the 6.4L HEMI. The 3.6L, 2.0L, and diesel JLs use different skid systems.
How much ground clearance does it add?
Roughly 3/4 inch more than the factory skids because the flat, high-tucked aluminum design sits closer to the frame than the stamped OEM plates.
Why aluminum instead of steel?
6061-T6 aluminum is lightweight and has memory: it flexes on a hard hit and returns to shape, while a steel skid tends to dent and stay dented. It also lets the pan cover more area without a large weight penalty.
Does installation require welding?
No. It is a bolt-on system that uses the supplied zinc-plated steel brackets and hardware and factory mounting locations. No welding or cutting is required.
Does it cover the exhaust?
The bellypan protects the main underbody. Add the JLU 392 Muffler & Tip Skid to shield the exposed muffler and tailpipe.
