JL APEX Rear Axle Truss

$131.99

The JL APEX Rear Axle Truss stiffens the M220 rear housing under your Jeep Wrangler JL so it holds up to larger tires and aggressive trail use. Its patent-pending peaked APEX top provides more rigidity than a flat-top truss, weighs under 10 lbs, and drops onto the axle pre-bent for a quick weld-on install.

Key Features

  • Patent-pending APEX peaked-top profile for greater rigidity than a flat-top truss
  • CNC laser-cut in-house from 3/16" mild steel, under 10 lbs
  • CNC-bent long seams let you drop it on the axle and weld, no puzzle-piece assembly
  • Modeled from Dana and Jeep 3D data for fit and clearance
  • Roughly 70% less welding than older truss designs, reducing heat warp

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits the M220 rear axle found in Jeep Wrangler JL (2018-present) models: all Rubicons, plus Sport and Sahara trims with a manual transmission, and all automatic-transmission JLs equipped with a limited-slip differential. A version for the smaller M200 rear axle is not available at this time. Pair it with the JL/JT APEX Front Axle Truss up front, or move to a full one-ton setup with the JL 1-Ton UD80 APEX Rear Axle Swap Kit & Truss.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this fit my JL's rear axle?
It fits the M220 rear axle. That includes all Rubicons, Sport and Sahara models with a manual transmission, and all automatics with a limited-slip differential. It does not fit the smaller M200 axle, and an M200 version is not offered at this time.

How do I know if I have an M220 or M200?
Rubicons use the M220. On Sport and Sahara trims, manual-transmission and limited-slip automatic models generally have the M220, while base open-diff automatics typically have the M200.

Does it require welding?
Yes. It is a weld-on truss for competent welders. MIG welding with moderate pre-heat and post-heat is recommended, alternating sides to limit warping.
