Designed for the Artec High Clearance Comp Front Bumper on the Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018), Wrangler JL (2018-present), and Gladiator JT (2020-present). Which bumper does this skid fit?
It is the replacement bash skid for the Artec High Clearance Comp Front Bumper on the JK, JL, and JT. It is not designed to bolt to other bumpers or directly to the frame.

Why aluminum instead of steel?
The 3/16" aerospace aluminum sheds weight off the nose of the rig while still taking hits, and the countersunk hardware keeps the surface flat so it glances off rocks.

Is welding needed?
No. It bolts on with the supplied countersunk hardware.
