The JK APEX Front Axle Ultimate Armor Kit bundles everything needed to make the Jeep Wrangler JK front axle as strong as it can be. It combines Artec's patented APEX front axle truss with heavy-duty lower control arm brackets, 1/4" shock brackets, inner C gussets, and the APEX heavy-duty track bar bracket, so the entire front housing is reinforced against big tires, hard hits, and aggressive trail abuse in one package.

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits the Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU (2007-2018). Select the Dana 44 (Rubicon) or Dana 30 variant to match your front axle. This is a weld-on kit for a fully armored front housing. If you need less coverage, the JK APEX Front Axle Armor Kit uses LCA skids instead of the HD brackets and shock brackets. The individual JK APEX Front Axle Truss is also available on its own.

What is the difference between the Ultimate Armor Kit and the standard Armor Kit?
The Ultimate kit adds heavy-duty LCA brackets and 1/4" shock brackets for maximum protection, while the standard Armor Kit uses LCA skids and does not include the shock brackets.

Is welding required?
Yes. The truss, gussets, and brackets are weld-on components meant for professional or experienced installation.

Why replace the factory shock brackets?
Factory shock brackets can bend or tear off the axle under a hard hit. The included 1/4" replacements are far stronger and remove that failure point.

Do I still need a rear truss?
This kit covers the front axle only. For rear protection, add the JK APEX Rear Axle Truss.
