The Full Hydro Tie Rod Kit with 7/8" JMX rod ends from Artec Industries is a heavy-duty tie rod build kit for front Dana 60 axles running full-hydraulic steering. It supplies the chromoly heims, jam nuts, tube adapters, and DOM link stock needed to build a stout tie rod that stands up to big tires and hard steering loads. It is designed to complement Artec Ultimate 60 High Steer Arms and a PSC DE hydraulic ram.
Key Features
- Four JMX 7/8"-14 tpi chromoly rod ends (heims) with 3/4" bore, in both hands (2 RH, 2 LH)
- Four matching 7/8"-14 tpi jam nuts (2 RH, 2 LH)
- Four 7/8"-14 tpi tube adapters (2 RH, 2 LH) to thread into the link stock
- Two 1.5" OD x .250" wall DOM tube links, 10 inches long
- Sized specifically for front 60 full-hydro steering
Fitment & Compatibility
Made specifically for front Dana 60 axles. It is intended to work alongside Artec Ultimate 60 High Steer Arms and a PSC double-ended (DE) hydraulic ram to complete a full-hydraulic steering system. The 7/8" heims use a 3/4" bore, so confirm your high-steer arm and ram tie-rod studs are 3/4" (or sleeved to 3/4"). Cutting the DOM links to final length and thread setup are part of assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is this kit designed for?
It is built for front Dana 60 axles running full-hydraulic steering. It pairs with Artec Ultimate 60 High Steer Arms and a PSC DE ram to form the tie rod portion of the steering system.
What size are the rod ends?
Four JMX 7/8"-14 tpi chromoly heims with a 3/4" bore, supplied in both right-hand and left-hand thread so the tie rod is adjustable for toe.
Do I need to weld or cut anything?
The tube adapters thread into the DOM link stock, which you cut to your axle's final width. Many builders weld the tube adapters into the links for security. Basic fabrication is required.
What high-steer arms work with it?
It is matched to the Artec ALUMINUM Ultimate 60 High Steer Arms. Pair it with the 60 Knuckle Bolt Kit if you want to run the tie rod in double shear.
